Good food is at the heart of what we do here at The Durant. Quality sourcing from local butchers, farms, growers and fishermen combined with simple, yet excellent, cooking skills from Gavin Castle our head chef and his team.
We have built up a dedicated local following, especially for our Sunday roasts which we believe are without equal in the area. We were finalists and ‘Highly Commended’ in The Devon Life Best Sunday Roast in Devon 2016; a big thank you to all our customers who supported and voted for us.
The menu changes daily to reflect changing produce as available throughout the seasons. Our reputation for serving great pub food has increased and we are honoured to have featured in the Summer 2016 edition of Devon Life magazine.
Food served Tuesday to Saturday:
12 noon until 2.45 pm & 6 pm until 8.45 pm.
Sunday lunch served:
12 noon until around 3.30 pm – Booking recommended.
We are closed for food on Sunday evenings.

Our end dining area can seat up to 26 people, or a few more if you are very friendly.
