Situated in the conservation village of Ashprington, The Durant Arms is a country inn with four en-suite letting bedrooms. Three rooms are accessed by stairs & one is in a courtyard annex; breakfasts are cooked to order. All rooms offer Freeview TV, coffee and tea making facilities, guest toiletries and free wifi in most areas. The Durant Arms is a family run free-house serving real ales, ciders & hearty home-cooked food with a welcoming log burner and an open fire on chilly days.

We offer three rooms with a private guest entrance, that are accessed by stairs, and one in a courtyard annex. Breakfasts are cooked to order.

All rooms have Freeview TV, coffee and tea making facilities, and guest toiletries. Towels and a hairdryer are provided; free wifi is available in most areas.

Since December 2013 The Durant Arms has been owned and run by The Woollacott family, the newly refurbished bar and dining area reopened in March 2014 and offers a selection of real ales, ciders, and wines. We serve hearty home-cooked food, using fresh ingredients from local suppliers, and with a log-burner and an open fire on chilly days we look forward to welcoming you, along with your boots, dogs or bikes

The fantastic coastline of the South Hams district offers quiet isolated coves through to popular and extensive beaches such Bantham, Bigbury and Blackpool Sands and is within easy access by car from The Durant Arms, and Dartmoor National Park is about 30 minutes drive away making us an ideal base to explore the area. Sharpham vineyard is just 15 minutes walk away. We are conveniently located on the South Devon national cycle route No. 28 (cycle rack provided to secure your bikes) and The Dart Valley scenic walking trail to Totnes.

 Booked a room to stay after nearby wedding. Came back late with more people than I should have, but they were very accommodating and sorted all of us with breakfast. Lovely people, lovely place.
